Catahoula Leopard Dog - Johnny-dawgs - Medium - Adult - Male
Meet Johnny, a 31lb, 2 yr. old male Catahoula/ Catlle dog mix. He is friendly, very playful and confident. Johnny gets along well with female dogs but likes to be the Top Dog. He also tested well with cats. He has the characteristic blue eye of the Catahoula on his left side. Catahoulas are great family dogs and highly intelligent. He recently graduated from the DAWGS in Prison program, http://www.dawgsinprison.com . All of the dogs selected for this program go through an intense 8-week training session and live with their trainers, handlers and caretakers in a dormitory style work camp. All of these dogs have had an extensive temperament test and get along well with other dogs and people. The dogs are all crate trained, house trained, and basic obedience trained. They can be expected to sit, stay, recall, down, heel, and respond to no and leave it. The dogs are also well trained on a leash. Of course, they are up to date on all vaccines as well as spayed/neutered. Please watch Johnny doing his recall command on the video.
